The short version
StupidApp! collects absolutely nothing. Zero. Nada. We don't know who you are, what accounts you have, or what codes you generate. That's the whole point.
Data Storage
All data is stored locally on your Mac in ~/Library/Application Support/StupidApp/. Your TOTP secrets, account names, and settings never leave your device.
Network Access
StupidApp! does not connect to the internet. The only network activity is the local HTTP API server, which binds exclusively to 127.0.0.1 (localhost) and is not accessible from other devices.
Keychain
Encryption keys and API tokens are stored in the macOS Keychain, which is protected by your system password and Apple's security framework.
Analytics & Tracking
None. No analytics. No telemetry. No crash reports. No usage data. We literally have no server to send it to.
Third Parties
StupidApp! does not share data with any third party because there is no data to share. The app has no accounts, no cloud sync, and no external dependencies.
Website
This website is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may collect standard web server logs (IP address, browser type). We do not use cookies, analytics, or tracking scripts on this website.
